A quite intensive practice, collocations can be a real challenge 🙂

As usual we started with conversation, vocabulary practice, describing photos and discussing the text of Unit 4.

Chápeme, že v teto krizové situaci nikdo neví jak se bude všechno
vyvíjet, ale my věříme, že od 14.dubna, kdy nový trimestr začíná, bude
výuka již probíhat v našich učebnách. Maximálně začne o týden později.
Skupinky, které si oblíbily online výuku v ní budou pokračovat až do
této doby.
Skupinky, které online výuku nepreferují začnou výuku v učebnách, hned
jak nám to situace dovolí.
Ti co již uhradili kurzovné na další trimestr nemusí mít obavu, že o
lekce nebo peníze přijdou. Neodučené lekce se po domluvě s lektory
nahradí v průběhu dubna až června nebo se finančně vykompenzují.
Studenti, kteří se zaplacením kurzovného ještě váhají, můžou tak učinit
nyní bez obav nebo až bude situace více jasnější. Splatnost kurzovného
se prodlužuje až do *_14.dubna._*

11.12.2014 Lesson 12

Our last lesson of the term was a busy one – we started with noodles 9.5.and 9.6. words with similar meaning, after that revised all conditionals and practised drills, past modals, we refreshed vocabulary of the unit and use of verbs ´make ´and ´do´. After that a test of Unit 9 followed.

After the test we spoke and read about Christmas in Britain, America, and the Czech Republic.

There is no special homework except for practicing a bit of English any time you can until January when the new course starts. You can also borrow books from the school library 🙂

9.10.2014 Lesson 3

The lesson started with practice of Present Perfect tense (fill-in 7.2.), after that we checked homework ´My first car nightmare´, and translation noodles 7.6. key.

We also checked the Passives fill-in 2.3. key, practised vocabulary of Unit 3 + 4, and finished with dialogues – conversation on different topics (meeting friends, directions).

For next time, please:

– revise the use of future forms

25.9.2014 Lesson 1

We started our new course with revision – first speaking about holidays, then practice of Present Simple tense and prepositions of time and place, adverbs of frequency and drill cards n. 17. We finished with speaking about learning languages.

Next time we will continue with Present Simple X Continuous practice (drill n. 33) , and also past tenses. Please refresh irregular verbs.
